Pachycephalosaurus

Since early 2023 I've participated in sensory-friendly events at Raleigh's Museum of Natural Science and Durham's Museum of Life and Science, in which I created "touchable" paintings with a wide range of materials and textures in addition to acrylic pigments, and of course it's a great excuse to paint dinosaurs! For each demo I had a variety of swatches that the event guests could match up with the painting in progress.

This Styracosaurus is the third in the "touchable" series, incorporating rice paper, sculpted / stenciled modeling paste and embossed "scales". He comes in a black gallery frame.
