Brachiosaurus skull in watercolor, inks and acrylic with lightly embossed texture and ammonite fossil background. The canvas is gallery-wrapped and painted on the sides so no frame is required.
I've always loved the architecture of dinosaur skulls - despite their massive size many of them are wonders of airy construction, with lots of fascinating negative space! I've been having a wonderful time adding a wide variety of media and texture elements to decorate them. This Brachiosaurus skull features embossed "scale" patterns in metallic teal and some bonus Ammonites in the background matrix.
