Maiasaura

Instead of painting the usual Maiasaura with eggs or hatchlings I decided to depict a bull of the species. (I can't help but think of Francis in Pixar's "A Bug's Life" - "SO! Being a ladybug automatically makes me a girl - is that it?"

He's painted in watercolor, inks and acrylic on a textured canvas. The canvas is gallery wrapped and painted on the sides so no frame is required.
